Each session at Elara is designed to be calm, flexible, and centred around your family. This page explains the differences between each session type in more detail, to help you choose what feels right
Signature Session
Booking Fee £100
Booking fee is fully redeemable against artwork and images purchased after your session.
A relaxed, guided session designed to create meaningful, natural portraits at your family’s pace.
The Signature Session is the core Elara experience. This session allows time to settle in, explore the space, and let moments unfold naturally, without rushing or pressure to perform. Sessions are gently guided, with direction offered where helpful and space given when it is not. Children are free to move, explore, and take breaks as needed, and pets are given time to acclimatise comfortably in their own way.

Each session is thoughtfully planned around you, following a pre-session consultation where we discuss personalities, routines, sensitivities, and anything that will help everyone feel at ease on the day.

Pace & structure:
Approximately 1 hour, paced to allow for settling in, movement, and pauses.
Artwork & ordering:
After your session, you’ll remain at the studio and be guided through viewing your images in a relaxed, unpressured way. This allows you to see your photographs while the experience is still fresh, with support selecting artwork that suits your home and feels right for you.

Extended Session
Booking Fee £150
Booking fee is fully redeemable against artwork and images purchased after your session.
A slower, more spacious experience for families who need extra time, flexibility, or a quieter pace.
The Extended Session offers everything included in the Signature Session, with additional time built in to allow for a gentler rhythm throughout. This option is ideal for families who benefit from longer settling-in periods, multiple breaks, or a more gradual flow, without feeling aware of the clock.

Sessions are calmly guided and fully tailored to your family’s needs, with space for regulation, rest, and natural interaction. There is no expectation for everything to happen at once, and no pressure to move quickly.

Pace & structure:
Approximately 2 hours, allowing for a slower pace, flexibility, and plenty of breathing room.
Artwork & ordering:
To maintain the same calm, supportive environment, artwork viewing takes place on a separate day. This allows you time to rest after the session and return with a clear head, ensuring decisions are never rushed.

You’ll be guided through your images in a relaxed setting, with the same care and support in choosing artwork that reflects your family and your home.

This two-stage approach is designed to prioritise comfort and thoughtful decision-making at every step.
Seasonal Mini Sessions
£75 | 30 minutes | 3 digital images included
Short, simple sessions offered at selected times throughout the year.
Seasonal Mini Sessions are a streamlined option designed for families who want a small collection of beautiful images without a longer session. These sessions are offered on specific dates only and follow a gentle but efficient structure.

3 fully edited digital images, chosen by you
Pace & structure:
Approximately 1 hour, paced to allow for settling in, movement, and pauses.
After your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery to view your images at home. Once you’ve selected your three included images, they will be fully edited and delivered digitally.

If you’d like to purchase additional images or artwork, this can be arranged via email or phone call, with the same supportive guidance available.

Seasonal Mini Sessions are intentionally simple, while still reflecting the care and quality Elara is known for.
